Mount Sequoyah Center’s Festival of Trees Returns Bigger and Brighter Than Ever

Get ready for an unforgettable winter wonderland experience starting Nov. 13. Mount Sequoyah Center is hosting its beloved Festival of Trees, presented by the Willard & Pat Walker Charitable Foundation, Inc., which will transform Millar Lodge into a white forest you know from stories long ago.

This year’s series is chaired by Leah Spears-Blackmon and Meredith Lowry, with honorary chair Jennifer Irwin, president and CEO of Chamber Fayetteville. Proceeds from the events will support the preservation of the Mount Sequoyah historic district.

Festival of Trees promises a dazzling display of holiday cheer, featuring locally sponsored trees and wreaths along with a variety of auction items — from unforgettable dining experiences to gift certificates to your local favorites. It is more than just a holiday spectacle; it’s a vital fundraiser that directly supports the preservation of Mount Sequoyah Center, a nationally registered historic district with 38 contributing buildings.

The event not only safeguards Fayetteville’s treasured heritage but also provides paid opportunities for local artists and creatives to showcase their talents and connect with new audiences.

The Festival of Trees Holiday Series will feature a number of unique events throughout November:
