Rock the Night Away as the Summer Heats Up

Fill your hot summer nights with unforgettable music from your favorite artists. The coming months are packed with sensational rock performances at the Walmart AMP. From the much-anticipated The Black Keys tour to the nostalgic sounds of Goo Goo Dolls or the Southern rock style Kansas and 38 Special are known for, there’s something for everyone.

Grammy-winning rock duo The Black Keys is bringing back its No Rain No Flowers Tour, and you don’t want to miss it June 8. With a fresh outlook, you can expect to see the band bring a renewed energy to the stage, while pulling from its critically acclaimed two-decade deep catalog. “Writing and recording has always been therapy for us, from the very beginning,” said guitarist Dan Auerbach. “We communicate best that way.”

The forthcoming project’s eclectic, at times unexpected, sound also draws from its wildly popular Record Hangs, where it introduces fans to deep vinyl cuts at high-energy, meticulously curated dance parties. That energy made its way into this new project, which the band said has a heavy emphasis on grooves and danceability.

Goo Goo Dolls (Photo by Allister Ann)

Goo Goo Dolls, the iconic band you know and love, is bringing rock ‘n’ roll to Northwest Arkansas on July 19. This multi-Platinum, four-time Grammy-nominated band is ready to rock your summer, promising a career-encompassing set. “We are truly excited to bring our Summer Anthem Tour 2025 to all our friends,” said front man John Rzeznik.

“We’re busy putting together our 15th studio album, so we will have some great new songs, and of course, we’ll be playing all the songs you know and love. Every tour we do is about making new friends and reuniting with everyone who’s been with us since day one.”

While rocking out to your favorite Goo Goo Dolls tunes at its Rogers tour stop, you will also be supporting a good cause. Goo Goo Dolls will be partnering throughout the tour with Joe Torre Safe At Home Foundation, a nonprofit founded in 2002 by Ali and Joe Torre to provide healing and education services to youth who have been traumatized by exposure to violence, including domestic violence, child abuse, teen dating abuse and sexual assault, to help break the cycle of violence.

38 Special

Kansas and 38 Special are bringing the heat with an unforgettable concert July 26. With a legendary career spanning five decades, Kansas has firmly established itself as one of America’s iconic classic rock bands. This “garage band” from Topeka released its debut album in 1974 and went on to sell more than 30 million albums worldwide.

Kansas is currently composed of original drummer Phil Ehart, vocalist/keyboardist Ronnie Platt, keyboardist/vocalist Tom Brislin, guitarist Zak Rizvi, violinist/guitarist Joe Deninzon, bassist/vocalist Dan McGowan, original guitarist Rich Williams and drummer Eric Holmquist. With no signs of slowing down, Kansas continues to perform in front of large and enthusiastic audiences.

38 Special continues to bring its signature blast of Southern rock to over 100 cities a year. At every show, thousands of audience members are amazed by the explosive power of the band’s performance. “We never wanted to be one of those bands that had maybe gotten a little soft or complacent over the years,” explained guitarist Don Barnes. “We’re a team, and it’s always been kind of an unspoken rule that we don’t slack up, we stack up. We go out there every night to win.”

Completing the team is bassist Barry Dunaway, drummer Gary Moffatt and keyboardist/vocalist Bobby Capps. The most recent addition to the band is legendary virtuoso guitarist and vocalist Jerry Riggs.
