Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Honors Northwest Arkansas’ Finest
The Arkansas Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation has selected 20 of Northwest Arkansas’ finest young professionals to raise awareness and funds to get one step closer to finding a cure for cystic fibrosis. Despite medical progress made possible by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, precious lives are still lost each year due to this progressive, genetic disease.
Finest Honorees are nominated by CF Foundation supporters as individuals who exemplify leadership qualities and are active in their communities. These “best and brightest” of young professionals raise awareness and funds for the CF Foundation and its mission to provide all people with CF the opportunity to lead long, fulfilling lives.
The accomplishments of the Finest Honorees will be featured October 4-6 at the Northwest Arkansas Finest and Wine Opener.

The Finest Program, presented by Henkel, kicked off with an educational event in May and will conclude this month with three days of celebration — a golf tournament at Shadow Valley Country Club Oct. 4-6 that will include four shotgun starts, great food, libations and games, followed by a presentation at the Wine Opener on the evening of Oct. 6. The 20 Finest young professionals will be presented and recognized with special awards, including the Cyr Lawson Award for the top fundraising Finest Honoree.
The 2023 Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Northwest Arkansas Finest Honorees are Ashton Alsup, Bailey Baxendale, Tristan Cagle, Stephanie Clark, Natalie Craig, Lizzi Esparza, Molly Feigel, Katlyn Gardenhire, Mason Goodell, Michael Hatch, Chandler Hesington, Ben Larsen, Karen Lopez, Campbell Petrie, Stephanie Porter, Justin Powell, Colton Stevens, Jack Theisen, Ty Toolson and Sydney Wendfeldt.
The Wine Opener, presented by Jack Links, will be at Heroncrest Event Center and will feature wine tastings, specialty cocktails, beer, and food tastings from event sponsors and the area’s top restaurants and caterers. Festivities will include entertainment, an exciting live auction, and a week-long online silent auction.
All proceeds from this three-day celebration will benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, the world’s leader in the search for a cure for this disease. To support a Finest Honoree, visit finest.cff.org/NWA2023.
