More Accolades for Momma Dean’s
We often try restaurants written up in CitiScapes and tried Momma Dean's Soul Food the moment we latched onto April’s issue. Being newish to NWA, transplants from Seattle, we took a test drive to locate, the plan being to come back for dinner. No parking was available as we pulled into the ample parking lot – they were going in as fast as they were coming out. As luck would have it, we noticed a woman who appeared to belong there taking an outdoor break. I took a chance, rolled down the window, and inquired if she was by chance Momma Dean? “I sure am” was the hearty reply. We continued to talk, and talk, and talk like old, old friends. Needless to say, dinner that evening was the best ever. I highly recommend the chicken fried steak, fried pork chops and baked chicken; and those green beans defy description! Momma Dean came and sat with us for a time and I can assure you we’ve never felt more at home. If you miss the old home cookin' places, you can't go wrong at Momma Dean’s.

Grateful
Thank you so much for the publicity about my daughter, Sydney Dunnam’s benefit. [Sydney is a fourth-grader at Turnbow Elementary in Springdale who during a routine eye exam was diagnosed with a brain tumor.] The event was a great success and we are grateful for the coverage.
